Artifakt provides a convenient way to duplicate any environment. Duplicating an environment means creating a new environment from an existing one using exactly the same underlying platform and configuration.
To do so, select the project where the environment you want to duplicate is located. Select the environment and click on the ellipsis icon at the end of the row (3 vertical dots). If you have sufficient rights, a menu will appear and you will be able to click on 'Duplicate'. If you do not have sufficient rights and you think it may be a mistake, contact the project owner!
After clicking on 'Duplicate', you will have to provide some information:
- Environment Code – the name of the environment, must be unique
- Region – the region where the environment will be deployed
- GIT Branch – the code base that will be deployed (branch from the GIT repository)
- Environment Variables (JSON) [optional]
